The QR code on the CampingCard serves to make the check-in process easier. It makes it possible for campsite owners to register the data of the campsite visitor quickly and safely simply by scanning the code. This QR code offers extra security due to its unique character, time-related authentication (the code is refreshed every 5 minutes) and simple verification, preventing fraud and guaranteeing a reliable registration process.

For extra security, the QR code on the digital card is refreshed every 5 minutes.

Technically, it is possible to take a screenshot of the card, but the QR code of the digital CampingCard is refreshed every 5 minutes. If the QR code is no longer valid at the time of scanning, you will see an error message. For you as a campsite owner, the introduction of the digital CampingCard ACSI simplifies the check-in process considerably. All you have to do is scan the data of the campsite visitor and check the secure QR code. This not only saves time but also reduces the risk of errors that go along with manual entry. You are also certain that you are dealing with a valid CampingCard, and the risk of fraud is decreased because the digital card cannot be copied. It may take some getting used to but you will soon experience the benefits, and our sales team is always ready to provide support if you have any questions or are confused.

As a campsite owner, you can create individual users for all of your employees. This means that the reception staff only has access to the functions within the ACSI Campsite Portal that are required to scan CampingCard ACSI and that enable verification of the data of campsite visitors. Go to the Campsite Portal and click on the button “User" at the bottom right. Follow the steps to create a new user. The reception staff can use this account, with restricted access to information. You can create as many extra user accounts as you need. The result is a smoother and more efficient check-in process at the reception, allowing you to work faster and easier. The ACSI Campsite Portal was designed to be used by several users at the same time, making it ideal for multiple reception desks.

At this time, it is not yet possible to transfer the customer data to your booking system. It is possible to copy single items of the data one by one and transfer them to your own system. You can also send an email with the data to process it at a later time. Europe has more than a hundred different PMS systems, which means that connections are not yet possible as a first step. However, we are working on this in phase 2.

The QR code that the customer is submitting is not valid. Check whether it is a valid active card. You can check whether the digital CampingCard ACSI is valid by the moving vehicle with a caravan at the bottom of the screen. You can check whether the physical CampingCard ACSI is valid by checking the date on the card. If it is a valid card and scanning it does not work, you can enter the unique code manually.

This card has not yet been activated. Check the data on the back of the card and ask the customer to activate the card by following the instructions in the guide and on the website. This page contains instructions on how to activate the CampingCard ACSI for consumers.

When you log in with the login details of the campsite, you have access to all functions, including registering CampingCard, uploading promotional material, looking up statistics of the CPC product and viewing contracts. However, extra user accounts that have been created can only use the functions that are relevant for registering CampingCard. They do not have access to other functionalities within the portal.

If you are not able to scan a QR code, the CampingCard ACSI also offers the possibility of manual entry. You can enter the last 8 digits of the CampingCard ACSI in the ACSI Campsite Portal, after which the customer’s data will be made available.

Scanning the CampingCard offers significant benefits for campsite owners, such as a simplified check-in process, saving time and increased security against fraud. Although it may take some getting used to it, you will soon see the benefits outweigh the relatively minor discomfort of scanning. We also offer the possibility of entering the unique code on the CampingCard ACSI manually. Watch “How do you enter data manually?”
