Curious about where European campers are heading for their holidays in 2025? ACSI has investigated the holiday plans of European campers for 2026. We now present the results to you.
For this research, we asked more than 20,000 European campers about their plans. They were approached via ACSI’s European websites and newsletters. Campers could participate between January 7 and February 6.
Average number of camping holidays in 2026
European campers who usually go camping with (grand) children plan to go on average five camping holidays in 2026, spending a total of 40 days camping. This is close to the level of 2024 and higher than in 2025. Campers who go camping without children are planning around five camping trips in 2026 as well, with a total of 65 days.
